William (Billy) Fritz
Head Golf Professional
William (Billy) Fritz first put on golf shoes as a young teenager when he got a job working at Chesapeake Hills Golf Club in Southern Maryland. Soccer was his sport at the time, but nurtured dreams of becoming a Golf Professional allowed Billy to take the first step in his golf career. That step would take him from washing carts to becoming one of the industry's most respected leaders.
Although a PGA Member today, Golf was not always the chosen career path for Billy. During his college years, Billy altered his plan of becoming a Golf Professional and became a Certified Underwater Commercial Hard Hat Diver as well as an Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle Technician for offshore oil companies. He traveled all around the world and worked in places such as West Africa, Thailand, Hawaii and Coast Rica. With golf never far from his heart, Billy gained employment at the Kapalua Golf Course in Maui, Hawaii. It was not until Billy met his future wife that he decided to pursue his ultimate goal of a career in the Club business.
Upon his return to the east coast, Billy signed on with Renditions Golf Club as an Assistant Golf Professional. Billy worked hard to gain his Class A and CCP with the PGA which ultimately led to his position as Head Golf Professional which he has held since 2011. As the Head Golf Professional of Oak Creek Golf Club and The Grove Restaurant, Billy now oversees the newest upscale public golf club and restaurant by our Nation's Capital.
Robert "Sean" Beasley
Food and Beverage Director
Robert “Sean” Beasley, born and raised in Bowie, MD. Sean has always had three loves in life; the three F’s. Family, food, and football. The passion and love for food and family led him to hospitality industry in his late teens. Sean started his first stint with Loews Hotels where he found that the service industry was his calling and started going to school for Hospitality Management. Soon after, Sean moved to northern Virginia and started working for independent restaurants in Washington, D.C. such as Marvin and The Brixton Pub. After a few vibrant years in the city, and plenty of traveling, Sean learned he had a daughter on the way. He decided to pack up and put down roots back in his home state of Maryland. After moving back Sean accepted a position with The O’Callaghan Annapolis hotel where his career took off. Within a year’s time Sean was an Duty Manager, in charge of overseeing all facets of the daily operations. Sean gained experience working the line, banquets, restaurant, and front office. This property was the epitome of “family” in hospitality, from the way they treated their guests to how much they cared for each other. After The O’Callaghan Annapolis Hotel closed Sean started his second stint with Loews Hotels, back to where it all started. At this point Sean decided he wanted to focus his attention strictly on restaurant operations and quickly learned the ins and outs of managing a high-volume, highly regarded restaurant & bar. During his time with Loews he soaked in the guest service-centric culture that Loews has created. Instilling the values that every guest be treated as family, Sean decided to take his experience with him to Oak Creek. Reminiscent of the days his grandfather would teach him how to golf in Wilmington, NC, Sean knew that this was the perfect place to bring his love for hospitality. Go Skins.
